The company was founded in 1992 by Arani Cuthbert, as an artist management company for New Zealand’s well-loved entertainers, the Topp Twins. It quickly evolved into an award-winning screen production company responsible for producing all the Topp Twins’ popular television shows and their internationally acclaimed, local box office hit movie the Topp Twins, Untouchable Girls, which won the Audience Award at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2009.
Since then Diva has expanded its slate to include documentary, lifestyle, animation and drama.

Arani Cuthbert
Founder and Producer
Arani has more than 20 years’ experience as a TV and Film producer. In 2010, she won WIFT’s Outstanding Achievement in Film Award and has a Bachelor in Science degree from Auckland University.

Felicity Morgan-Rhind
Director
Felicity is one of New Zealand's top factual and TVC directors. Her short dramatic films have also screened at Cannes, Sundance and the New York Film Festival.
Most recently she co-directed the Netflix series Down For Love which won Best Original Reality Series NZ Film & TV Awards 2022
Before she became a filmmaker, she trained as an anthropologist and then a chef. She tells moving, inspiring, thought-provoking factual stories that help people see the world with more empathy and curiosity.
