The Topp Twins - Do Not Adjust Your Twin-Set
The Topp Twins first made their name in the 1980s as political activists, street buskers and an original country-music-singing-comedy duo.
After extensive tours and a one-Ghour TV Special that made them household names, together with Arani Cuthbert created a TV series that became TV3’s top-rating show.
Running for three seasons, it showcased a beloved cast of Kiwi characters — including Camp Mother, the Bowling Ladies and the cross-dressing Ken and Ken.
The twins took part in everything from triathlons to speedway races and cultural events around NZ where their own storylines collided with reality creating mayhem and mirth.
Before Borat, there was the Topp twins unleashing their spontaneity on the unsuspecting public.
The series won several gongs at the NZ Film and TV Awards.
In Australia it screened on the ABC and Foxtel, and sold over 25,000 DVDs.
