ATEED Tripartite Economic Summit Guangzhou 2017

The Tripartite Economic Alliance between Auckland, Guangzhou (GZ, China) and the City of Los Angeles is based on existing strong sister-city relationships.

In late 2017 a group of Auckland business leaders travelled with Mayor Phil Goff as part of Auckland’s largest ever trade mission to the Tripartite Economic Summit in Guangzhou, featured business delegates from Los Angeles and included screen industry, IT, electronics and the F&B industries.

So far, the connections made by Auckland businesses through ATEED’s three-year Tripartite programme have delivered tens of millions in dollars of deals into Auckland-based businesses.

From 1 December 2020, Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development Limited was amalgamated into Regional Facilities Auckland Limited to become Tātaki Auckland Unlimited Limited.
